Introducing De Pere Chiropractor, Dr. David Van Drisse
"I admit I was a skeptic." remembers Dr. David Van Drisse.
"I was trying everything, stretching, swimming, and even pain killers. Fortunately, a friend insisted I try chiropractic since I was still experiencing almost daily headaches and shoulder pain after a 1986 car accident. I was reluctant, but willing to try anything."
"It was incredible," continues Dr. Van Drisse. "I'll never forget my first adjustment. It was as if a huge weight was suddenly lifted from my shoulders. That's when I decided I wanted to be a chiropractor."
Dr. Van Drisse began his pre-chiropractic education at University of Wisconsin Stevens Point where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses
After completing his bachelor of science, he was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. After graduating in 1994 Dr. Van Drisse returned to Wisconsin to establish his practice.
"We love skeptics," smiles Dr. Van Drisse. "I still remember the concerns and apprehension I had when I went to the chiropractor for the first time. So we make it a point to explain everything in advance, answer questions, and attempt to over communicate. Patients appreciate that."
Dr. Dave is married to Joni and they have four children, Alec, Andrew, Ava, and Aidan.

Introducing De Pere Chiropractor, Dr. Jaceson Hauser
"I didn’t personally experience a miracle, but I’ve seen them."
I have always had a desire to help people and I have always been attracted to doing things naturally. For me chiropractic was a perfect fit. I was also inspired by my uncle who has been practicing chiropractic for decades. His passion for chiropractic really motivated me to want to be a great doctor.
I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. I took an unconventional road to chiropractic school. I finished my undergraduate studies in 1998 and did not begin to study chiropractic until 2003. In the interim, I met my wife working in the finance field. I told her of my goal of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic and as a long time patient she supported me 100 percent.
I pride myself on practicing ethically and with the best interest of my patient in mind always. I love newcomers to chiropractic. It is very rewarding for me to explain how chiropractic works to a somewhat skeptical new patient. I thrive on the look of discovery on the face of that new patient when he or she starts to experience the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. By far though, I am most satisfied when I hear that patient share the story of his or her chiropractic journey with a friend or family member. It is great to know that I have changed a life for the better.
My wife, Jessica, and I met while living and working in the twin cities of Minnesota. We were both Wisconsin natives and always knew we would return. So far we have one daughter, Gabriella. When I am not at the clinic, I love to fish, play volleyball and enjoy time with my family.
Some people are surprised by how physical the job of chiropractor can be for the doctor. I get my spine checked regularly to keep my body aligned and functioning. Heart disease and cholesterol issues run in my family so I am very proactive and take my fish oils everyday.
